CGTN

By prudential regulation the government needs to draw a clear bottom line involving public safety and security, no one should be able to use Internet plus or the sharing economy as an excuse or means for cheating and manipulation, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said on Friday.

Premier Li made the remarks at a press conference after the closing session of the 13th National People's Congress at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

In addressing the new business models, Li stressed "we must not exercise arbitrary regulation and oversight, either letting them be, or shutting them down as soon as problems appear," Li stressed.

"In a market economy, the fittest will survive," he said.
