China and US to hold 2nd round of Diplomatic and Security Dialogue

China and the United States will hold the second round of its Diplomatic and Security Dialogue in Washington on Friday, said China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying at a press conference on Tuesday.
The dialogue will be co-chaired by Yang Jiechi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Secretary of Defense James Mattis.
Chinese State Councilor and Minister of National Defense Wei Fenghe will also attend the event.
Both sides will exchange views on China-US relations and other important issues of common concern.
