The Shanghai-Nantong Yangtze River Bridge is currently under construction, designed for both rail and highway traffic, it has the largest span in the world at 1092 meters, as well as the tallest pylons at 325 meters. This bridge is a key project in China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network, and will connect the cities of Nantong and Suzhou once completed.
