Air China will deploy its new Airbus 350 aircraft to international flight routes to Frankfurt and Milan in a bid to further enhance its transport capacity from China's financial hub Shanghai.
The company has launched several new long-haul routes from Shanghai to Paris and Munich in order to optimize its strategic positioning in east China. The carrier has embarked upon its new branding campaign, "Land your dream," in Shanghai, featuring more convenient boarding procedures and services for passengers.
Air China became the first domestic carrier to take delivery of the A350-900 wide-body aircraft from Airbus in August. It has ordered a total of ten A350s, which feature longer range and lower fuel consumption compared to other passenger jets of the same size.
