Paulinho scored his first goal after coming back in mid-July before his compatriot added two goals later on to lead Guangzhou Evergrande crushing Chongqing SWM 5-0 in Round 14 of the 2018 Chinese Super League on Sunday.
The match is the first for Chongqing caretaker coach Hao Haitao, who took over from former Portugal boss Paulo Bento last week.
Fabio Cannavaro's Guangzhou opened the scoring after just two minutes when Talisca sent in a lofted free-kick which Deng Hanwen eventually manages to head home.

Guangzhou doubled their lead in the 40th minute after Gao Lin pounced on a clumsy clearance by Sui Weijie in the Chongqing goal. Ricardo Goulart's header would have given the home side a 3-0 lead, but VAR did not allow it for offside.
But the third goal come in the 64th minute. Paulinho scored on his return to Evergrande, a neat shot which curls around the goalkeeper from outside the area and delights Cannavaro.
Two further goals would come from new signing Talisca. Brazilian now has five goals in two games since joining the club. Guangzhou Evergrande now ranks fourth with 24 points after 13 matches.

Also on Sunday, Tianjin Quanjian beat Changchun Yatai 2-0. The hosts would take the lead in the 34th minute, as Alexander Pato's free-kick finds Yang Xu who nods it home to make it 1-0 Tianjin.
The 30-year-old has now scored in three consecutive matches. Tianjin doubles their advantage twenty minutes later as Zhang Lu's clearance is collected by Zheng Dalun who chested it down before firing it home. Quanjian win 2-0, their first victory over Yatai.
