French and Papua New Guinean PMs to visit China

French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe will pay an official visit to China from June 22 to 25 at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang announced Friday in Beijing.
He will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang during his visit to China. The two sides will exchange views on bilateral relations between China and Europe as well as other international and regional issues of common concern.
This will be the French Prime Minister’s first visit to China since he took office.
Chinese Foreign Ministry also announced that the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, Peter O'Neill, will pay a visit to China from June 20 to 26.
