John Terry, former captain of both England and Chelsea, is set to return to Stanford Bridge to replace Jody Morris, who departed for Derby County to assist Frank Lampard, as the new manager for the U23 Blues.
Terry said that family is the reason behind his decision to come back to Chelsea, according to 101 Great Goals. He already agreed to a 1.04-million-US-dollar contract with the club and got consent from Chelsea's manager Maurizio Sarri.
Having finished his contract with Aston Villa in the last season, 37-year-old Terry still had various thoughts about soccer including continuing his career on the field, working as a commentator or becoming a manager. He turned down an offer from Spartak Moscow during the summer.
