Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa, who said he wants to work more with Beijing. The two sides have signed an agreement to deepen cooperation on the Belt and Road Initiative. Xi also got a warm welcome from the Portuguese parliament and met with the law-making body's president, Eduardo Ferro Rodrigues. Xi said he hopes the two countries' legislatures can learn from each other.
