The crew and all 47 passengers on board an Air Niugini flight survived a crash-landing in a Pacific lagoon on September 29. The Boeing 737 plane that belongs to Air Niugini hit the lagoon surrounding the small island at about 9.30 a.m. local time. No serious injuries were reported.
