Plunging temperatures and snowfall formed rime ice in the northern Chinese city of Gaoping's downtown, in Shanxi Province. The city has turned into a fairy-tale-like ice world. Aerial views showed that many streets, parks and both sides of the city river were turned into a white wonderland.
