Taiwan's Democratic Progressive Party voted for a new chairperson on Sunday – a post vacated by leader Tsai Ing-wen after significant losses in recent local elections. Media sources say former Cabinet Secretary-General Cho Jung-tai won with 70 percent of the vote.
