Chinese President Xi Jinping met his Azerbaijan counterpart Ilham Aliyev at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Wednesday. Azerbaijan is China's important partner in Eurasia, Chinese President Xi Jinping said, adding that he hopes to see more exchanges between the two sides in various areas. Aliyev echoed President Xi's thoughts, vowing to give unswerving support in regards to issues concerning China's core interests.
