The CIIE has provided companies around the world with a chance to explore the Chinese market, and among the countries participating, 58 are members of the Belt and Road Initiative, and 38 are among the world's least developed countries.
China's trade partners, new or old, all had a fair chance to show the best they have to offer.
Buyers can see products of around 700 companies from Europe, 180 from the US, 170 from Africa and 600 from East Asia, and some of those are going home with large orders.
Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba sealed deals worth over 200 billion US dollars for transactions over the next five years. Its competitor JD ordered 100 billion US dollars worth of goods. And online electronics giant Suning spent 15 billion euros during the expo.
