Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan on Monday met with visiting President of the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly Miroslav Lajcak in Beijing, expressing the country's support for the United Nations.
China is willing to realize common development with other countries under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, Wang told Lajcak.
The Chinese official also spoke of a "community of shared future for mankind," a term proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping for a world with lasting peace, common prosperity, and universal security.

China will firmly support multilateralism and uphold the central role of the United Nations, and contribute to building a global governance system of equity and justice, said Wang.
On his part, Lajcak said China has been a strong supporter of multilateralism and a necessary and important force to promote world peace and development.
The United Nations is willing to continue to deepen all-round cooperation with China, Lajcak added.
Lajcak is paying a visit to China from July 1 to 3.
