'A new era' for China-Italy ties

Chinese President Xi Jinping has arrived in Rome. The two-day state visit will mark Italy joining in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which is set to be a turning point, not only for Italy, but also for the region as a whole in the years to come. Matteo Giuliano Caroli, a professor of economics at Luiss University, believes China and Italy share a strong commitment to environmental economy.
