Scores of Chinese soldiers have been injured in mine clearance operation in the southwestern Yunnan Province, with the latest one named Du Fuguo lost his eyes and hands in an accidental blast. Du, a 27-year-old ground force soldier from the Southern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, was injured in an explosion recently when clearing the explosives on China-Vietnam borderline in Yunnan Province.
