China reveals new 'Grey Phoenix' visitor jersey for Women's World Cup

More than 28 of the world's top female soccer players joined Nike in Paris on Monday to unveil 14 National Team Collections for this summer's World Cup tournament in France. Record-breaking gymnast Simone Biles, champion fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad, two-time Grand Slam winner Li Na and other elite athletes also joined the event.
China's international Wang Shanshan and Wu Haiyan modeled the China national women's soccer team jerseys. The home court version is similar to the men's jerseys, whose main color is red with narrow yellow stripes on the shoulders.

While for the visitor version, the shirt is grey with either an orange or matching grey pair of shorts. The end of the sleeves and socks are also orange. With the shallow emblazonments of phoenix decorated on the shirt, the jersey is called the "Grey Phoenix" by Chinese fans.
"The color matching of the visitor jersey is original, and the details of the design are interesting," wrote a fan on Chinese social media.
