UK police treating Manchester stabbing attack as terrorist investigation
British police confirmed on Tuesday they were treating a stabbing attack which injured three people at Manchester's Victoria train station as a terrorist investigation, and were searching an address in the Cheetham Hill area of the city.
Three people were injured by a knife-wielding man at Manchester Victoria station in northwestern England on New Year's Eve.
Police said they had arrested a male suspect.
The three people, including a police officer, have been hospitalized with serious but non-life threatening injuries, according to a police statement.
The station in the city center has now reopened after closing down after the stabbing, reports UK media.
