An infant girl born five months ago is believed to be the world’s tiniest baby ever to survive. The baby, known as Saybie, weighed 8.6 ounces (245 grams) when she was born. Saybie weighed a little more than a large Golden Delicious apple, which is usually about 7.5 ounces. She is believed to have broken the record for the world’s tiniest baby, according to the Tiniest Babies Registry.
