Republic of Korea (ROK) President Moon Jae-in said Sunday that both top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un and US President Donald Trump "wholeheartedly" wished for success in their summit, which is scheduled on June 12 in Singapore.
Moon Jae-in made the remarks during a nationally televised press briefing about his surprise meeting with Kim over the weekend at the border village of Panmunjom, the second time the two have met in person. The meeting was held at the request of Kim, Moon said.

“Chairman Kim and I have agreed that the June 12 summit should be held successfully, and that our quest for the Korean Peninsula’s denuclearization and a perpetual peace regime should not be halted,” Moon said.
