Piton de la Fournaise, one of the world’s most active volcanoes located on the Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean, continued to spew lava and smoke on Thursday, a week after it erupted. This is the second time the volcano has erupted this year, with previous activity taking place on April 3 and lasting only a few hours.
