Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will pay an official visit to Laos on December 16 and 17,  according to China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Wang is to attend and co-chair the fourth Mekong-Lancang Cooperation foreign ministers' meeting. 

Wang will also visit India from December 21 to 24. During his visit, he will co-chair the first forum for high-level people-to-people cultural exchange between China and India with Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj.
