Chinese President Xi Jinping visited the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Academy of Military Science in Beijing on Wednesday morning. During his visit, Xi called for the development of modern military science to be accelerated and for a high-level military research institution to be built in order to reach the goal of building stronger armed forces for the new era.
