Kip Stephen Thorne, an American theoretical physicist and Nobel laureate, has criticized Donald Trump for pulling the US out of the global climate change agreement.
Thorne, who has authored a number of books including "Interstellar," was speaking on the sidelines of World Forum on Scientific and Technological Innovation held in Beijing from August 10-12.
"It's a political problem to get (Trump) out of office," the scientist told a CGTN reporter. "I don't think Trump is insane, I think he is not sensitive to the future of the world."
