This will be the first time that both 5G technology and 4K format are deployed for a large-scale TV event.
"Meanwhile, we're also setting up 4K big-screens at a number of venues around Shanghai during the festival. They will display the latest productions of the Group. Created with 5G, 4K and AI technologies, they also incorporate innovative storytelling techniques. Such rich and varied content is sure to add color to the film and TV events held in Shanghai."
The Shanghai TV Festival is the most prominent event for the TV industry in Asia. The 25th edition runs from June 10 to 14. In addition to a series of forums, seminars, and exhibitions, the event will also hand out much-coveted awards to top productions from China's small screen.
