The Chinese women's team made a terrific comeback after beating Japan 5-4 on Saturday in an intensely-fought match in their last round of the ongoing Curling World Cup in Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province.
The Chinese team had earlier suffered a huge 10-1 defeat to Scotland and bounced back in style to end their tournament on a high note.
China trailed 4-3 after the first seven ends, as the victory seemed not far away from Japan, who won the bronze medal at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics this year.
But the Japanese were not able to seize the opportunity with their last stone, which helped China regain the lead after grabbing two points. China went on to win 5-4 and are now in third place with two wins and four losses in group A.
The final will see Sweden up against Canada on Sunday.
In the men's side of the draw, China went down fighting against Sweden 4-6.

The world champions had earlier suffered a shocking 7-2 loss to China on Wednesday, and were looking to rebound this time, as they went 3-2 ahead after the first five ends.
The Chinese team was able to regain the lead 4-3 in the seventh, but missed the chance in the next and went on to lose 6-4. China failed to reach the final with two wins and four losses, and the winner will be decided between Norway and Canada on Sunday.
In mixed doubles, South Korea registered a convincing win against China, comprising of the pair Yu Jiaxin and Wang Xiangkun, who only scripted one win so far when they beat the South Korean duo on Thursday.
China set up an early 2-0 lead, but the Koreans tied it up in the following two ends.
Trailing 6-3, Yu Jiaxin had the hammer in the eighth, but couldn't do much to help, as South Korea finally won 7-3. The Chinese pair ended their journey with one win and five losses.
The final will take place between the US and Canada.
