According to inside sources from Premier League’s Chelsea, the team will not agree to transfer their Belgian superstar Eden Hazard to La Liga’s Real Madrid, not even with a price as big as 197 million US dollars, reported Daily Mail on Saturday.
The Blues’ new manager Maurizio Sarri is building his team for the coming 2018-19 season and plans to do it with Hazard as the core player. Though Hazard has already turned down Chelsea’s offer of an extension worth 394,000 US dollars per week, Sarri said in an interview that he wanted Hazard to stay and would talk to him.

Hazard still has two years left on his contract with Chelsea, so as long as the team remains firm, they’ll have nothing to worry about before next summer when reals problem will appear. If Hazard still refuses to sign a new contract with Chelsea then, their management will need to rack their brains but currently they need to concentrate on the new season, which is some two weeks away.
After the 2018 FIFA World Cup trip in Russia, Hazard hinted that he is ready to leave Stamford Bridge for, expected by many, Real Madrid. The Mirror reported that he believes this is his only chance for the Bernabeu.

As for Real Madrid, the Champions League winner just lost Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus and is likely to see Karim Benzema reportedly depart for AC Milan. Moreover, the team’s young midfielder Mateo Kovacic also wanted to leave. All these have put Real Madrid in need of introducing new blood at the star level. Money has never been a problem with the club, so they will not give up on Hazard so easily.
Chelsea is holding pre-season training sessions in Australia without Hazard who is still taking vacation in Spain. Twenty-seven-year-old Hazard joined Chelsea in 2012 and helped the team win two Premier League champions. He also delivered outstanding performances in the past World Cup and won the Silver Ball at the tournament.
