The English Premier League season may be only six rounds old but already it is hard to see Jose Mourinho's Manchester United competing with leaders Liverpool and champions Manchester City for the title.
They were held 1-1 by Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday as Joao Moutinho's stunning strike in the 53rd minute leveled Fred's first-half goal.
Liverpool bagged their sixth straight victory, equaling the team's consecutive win record, sending three goals past Southampton without reply at home.
Jürgen Klopp's side took the lead through an own goal by Wesley Hoedt in the 10th minute and were 3-0 up by half-time. The second came from Joel Matip 11 minutes later and Mohamed Salah added the third as the Reds stayed firmly at the top of the table.

Manchester City smashed promoted Cardiff City 5-0, with Sergio Aguero (32'), Bernardo Silva (35'), Ilkay Gundogan (44'), and Riyad Mahrez (67', 89') providing the goals.
In other matches, Fulham tied 1-1 with Watford, Leicester City beat Huddersfield Town 3-1, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United played to a goalless draw, Brighton & Hove Albion were beaten by Tottenham Hotspur 1-2, and Burnley scored their first win of the season with an invigorating 4-0 victory over Bournemouth.
In Sunday's games, West Ham United will play Chelsea and Arsenal will host Everton.
