Before NBA announces the schedule for the 2018-19 regular season, Marc Stein from the New York Times on Wednesday released part of the league’s Christmas Day plan on Twitter: The Milwaukee Bucks vs. the New York Knicks, the Boston Celtics vs. the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers vs. the Golden State Warriors.
“A vintage dose of Celtics/Sixers, Giannis and the Bucks at MSG against the Knicks and -- you guessed it -- LeBron's Lakers in Oakland to face the Warriors are the highlights of the NBA's Christmas Day schedule that will be announced Wednesday afternoon, league sources tell @NYTSports” wrote Marc Stein on.

Meanwhile, ESPN’s Tim MacMahon wrote on Twitter that the Oklahoma City Thunders will challenge the Houston Rockets on Christmas Day. Chris Hayes who also comes from ESPN tweeted “Portland Trail Blazers will face the Utah Jazz on the road in one of the five Christmas Day games, league sources tell ESPN”.
Three of the five games can be seen as the most eye-catching match-ups. Carmelo Anthony just played one of the worst seasons in his career with OKC and he will meet his old teammates again on behalf of a different team at the Toyota Center.
Moreover, the competition between Russell Westbrook, 2017 NBA MVP and James Harden, 2018 NBA MVP is also no reason to miss the game.

The Celtics and the 76ers, two of the best young teams in the league and the two biggest candidates for the throne in the Eastern Conference since LeBron James left, will meet at the TD Garden.
After being knocked out by Boston in the 2017-18 playoffs, Philadelphia does not need mobilization to deliver their best in the court.
However, neither of the two games can be a bigger topic than the one between the Lakers and the Warriors. LeBron James will continue his history with Golden State, the team that he has played against for four times in a row in the NBA Finals in the Western Conference at the Lakers, the team that used to belong to George Mikan, Jerry West, Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant and took in total 16 NBA Champions (the league’s second most).
NBA will announce the national TV schedule for the first week, Christmas Day and Martin Luther King Day of the 2018-19 season on Wednesday, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
