A Syrian medical student has been making artificial limbs and prosthetics to help those who lost their hands in the Syria war return to a normal life. The eight-year war in Syria has brought physical trauma to around 2.9 million Syrians, one in seven of the country's pre-war population. Ali Bakeer, the 22-year-old medic, decided to do everything in his power to help the wounded after his brother died in the war four years ago.
