Two Chinese scientists, radar expert Liu Yongtan and defense engineering expert Qian Qihu, won China's top science award on January 8, 2019 in Beijing. Liu Yongtan is the founder of China’s new maritime radar system and Qian Qihu is the architect of China’s Underground Great Wall.
