On the first Saturday of each December for the last ten years, a special birthday party has brought together alumni from east China's Nanjing Normal University for Wang Xinjie, one of their former classmates who has suffered from a rare form of brain damage ever since falling into a coma a decade ago. Wang still suffers from mental disability after he woke up from coma.
