In the Greater Khingan Range in northeastern China, the reindeer and sables were hanging out in the forests in the freezing winter while the wood frogs started hibernating. Due to the high demand for its dark brown fur, the sable, on the verge of extinction, is under first-class state protection. They feed on wild berries, hares and even small musk deer in winter.
Watch the video to see animals that are active in the forests during winter.
