At least 13 people were killed and 31 others wounded in an ISIL-claimed attack on the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in the Afghan capital Kabul on Monday.

Employees were leaving their offices early for Ramadan when a suicide bomb rocked the entrance to the building.

This attack occurred a day before the government's separate ceasefire with the Taliban is due to start.

The wounded reportedly included children and women.
