A Brazilian passenger airplane heading to London made an emergency landing due to technical malfunctions at the Tancredo Neves International Airport in Brazil at midnight on Thursday, Xinhua reports.
All 355 onboard, including 339 passengers, have been evacuated safely.
The Boeing 777 passenger airplane took off from Sao Paulo around 0:30 a.m. on Thursday and made the emergency landing at around 1:43 a.m. due to technical problems.
More than 100 flights have been canceled and many are affected. The Tancredo Neves International Airport will resume its operation as early as Thursday evening.
