Anshun, southwest China's Guizhou Province
Anshun is the center of tourism in western Guizhou Province. Its tourism has greatly contributed to the revitalization of local villages. When you come at this time of the year, you'll witness the scene of residents busy picking tea leaves in the tea garden.
Top two destinations in Anshun are Huangguoshu Waterfall and Dragon Palace Cave Scenic Spot that are noted for spectacular natural scenery and hospitable ethnic people.
Gongtan Ancient Town, southwest China's Chongqing Municipality
With a history of over 1,700 years, Gongtan Ancient Town is surrounded by mountains and is abundant in cultural and ecological resources.
Last year alone, the town received 1.58 million tourist visits. In the first two months of 2019, the number of tourist visits to the scenic spot reached 190,000.
The resort is accessible from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a ticket price of 20 yuan (2.98 U.S. dollars).
Lishui, east China's Zhejiang Province
Lishui, meaning "beautiful water" in Chinese, is a photographer's paradise. After a widespread renovation campaign initiated by local authorities, the once shabby houses in the villages have begun to demonstrate their charm again.

Xuancheng, east China's Anhui Province
The landform of Xuancheng is rather complicated with varied mountains, valleys and plains. When traveling in Xuancheng, you can't miss the Jixi County, a well-known ancient town known for its Hui-style architecture, featuring whitewashed walls and black roofs.
You can either trek along the Huihang Ancient Trail or go to Taiji Lake Village for an experience of local culture and lifestyle.
