China's national legislature has strengthened and improved its legislative work, formulating eight laws and revising 47 laws in 2018. Li Zhanshu, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), made the remarks in a work report of the NPC Standing Committee during a plenary meeting of the second session of the 13th NPC at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Friday.
