"The Path to Prosperity" is a special series currently airing on China Central Television (CCTV) to mark the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening up.

The fourth episode, "The Power Source," features the important role of people in the stunning story of China's reform and opening up over the past 40 years.

The Communist Party of China (CPC) has been leading over 1.3 billion people by combining their strengths and forging ahead despite setbacks and difficulties, achieving significant milestones along the way.

"The Power Source" recounts the story of how people joining hands drove the power of change in the country in the past few decades.

The eight-episode political documentary was co-produced by eight organizations, including the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Central Leading Group for Deepening Overall Reform, the Party History and Archives Research Center of the CPC Central Committee, the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Radio and Television Administration, Xinhua News Agency, the China Media Group, and the Political Work Department of the Military Commission of the CPC Central Committee.
