Three-time NBA Final Champion Dwyane Wade said on Saturday that if he plays in the 2018-19 season, it will only be for the Miami Heat.
“If I'm playing the game of basketball this year, it'll be in a Miami uniform,” Wade said at the Jr. NBA World Championships, according to the Associated Press.

Such a statement suggests that “the Flash” is not coming to play in China, Bleacher Report said.
He has been offered a three-year contract worth 25 million US dollars by the Zhejiang Golden Bulls from the CBA  that would be the biggest in Chinese basketball history if Wade agrees.
Moreover, Wade said that there’s “no clock” over when he will decide whether he will be playing next season. The 36-year-old free agent returned to Miami last season from the Cleveland Cavaliers, making 12.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists in the 21 games since then.

Selected by the Heat with the fifth pick in the 2003 NBA Draft, Wade has spent 13 1/2 of the15 seasons playing for Miami. He gave his best time to the team and contributed much to bringing the NBA Championship Trophy to the South Beach three times.
Pat Riley, president of the Heat, has said repeatedly that he wants Wade to come back to play for the team. “I want him back as a player. I want him back as a competitor. I want him back as a guy who wants to have the greatest year he ever had as a player. I read more articles about 'Dwyane being done, he's lost a step, he's not the same player, he might not have the same motivation.' But I still see a player who can contribute heavily if he really wants to,” said Riley.
