US, S. Korea to hold summit before Trump-Kim meet

South Korea and the United States are likely to hold a summit in mid-May ahead of the summit between US President Donald Trump and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea leader Kim Jong Un, Reuters reported, citing an unnamed South Korean presidential official.
South Korean President Moon Jae-in and US President Donald Trump are also scheduled to speak by a phone shortly after the inter-Korean summit this Friday wraps up, the presidential Blue House said.
