China's state broadcaster said one of its journalists briefly detained in Britain after a scuffle at a Conservative Party event has been freed with no charges. The China Media Group earlier said Kong Linlin had asked a question at the meeting in Birmingham, but was obstructed verbally and physically. A spokesperson said the removal of the journalist was a violation of the journalist's legitimate rights, and demanded organizers’ apology.
