The Taipei district court Friday announced the acquittal of former leader Ma Ying-jeou, clearing him of all charges. Ma was not at the court when the decision was announced. He was charged with leaking secrets and instructing prosecutors to disclose confidential information about a judicial probe in 2013. Ma's camp argued evidence against him was not credible.
