Both China and India should enhance comprehensive cooperation, specifically in the field of people-to-people exchange, which is vital to the bilateral ties, said State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Wang made the remarks at a press conference in Beijing on the sidelines of the second session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC).

The successful summit between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi last April in central China's Wuhan City has pushed the friendship between the two sides a step forward, Wang said. As two of the most ancient civilizations with a combined population of 2.7 billion people, the duo should take up the due responsibilities of Asia's revitalization, he added.
