The National Speed Skating Oval will hold the largest ice rink in China. Construction of the Oval started in April 2017 and is expected to finish by the end of 2019. It will cover 97,000 square meters and have a capacity of 12,000 people. The Oval will host speed skating competitions during the 2022 Winter Olympics Games in Beijing.
