Five years ago, flight MH370 mysteriously vanished while flying to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur on March 8, 2014, with 239 people on board.
It has been described as the world's greatest aviation mystery since its disappearance. After two rounds of searching, little has been found to help solve the mystery.
The first one was an official joint search by Malaysia, China and Australia, which was called off in 2017 after finding no trace of MH370. The second one was led by U.S. firm Ocean Infinity, which ended last year.
Malaysian Transport Minister said on March 3 that they will considering resuming the research if there are interested companies with viable plans.
Here is a quick look at the timeline in the search for missing flight MH370.
