In a landmark decision, DPRK leader Kim Jong Un announced the suspension of the country's nuclear and missile tests on Friday. In the same speech, he also announced the country's shift in priority to improving its domestic living standards.
Teng Jianqun, Director for the Department of American Studies at China Institute of International Studies, talked to CGTN about Kim Jong Un's two-track policy of developing the military and growing the economy. Teng also emphasized the patience and time needed for Northeast Asia and the world to reap the benefits of Kim Jong Un's decision.
