Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Norway's King Harald V. He held a welcoming ceremony in Tian'anmen Square for the Norwegian King, during which they inspected the honor guard. The President and the King also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of cooperation in sports, science and technology. They agreed to spur new momentum into the growth of bilateral ties, which were normalized back in 2016.
