Sri Lankan police seized a large cache of explosives on Friday after a fierce overnight gun battle that killed at least 15 people in eastern Sri Lanka. The bodies of 15 people, including six children, were discovered at the site, six days after suicide bombers killed more than 250 people on Easter Sunday. Police said at least three suspected bombers were killed in the shootout. The military said bomb-making materials were found in a search of a separate house in the same area.
