BRICS, which comprises Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, held its 10th annual summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, on July 25-27.
The concept of "BRICS Plus," created at last year's Xiamen summit, was continued at the Johannesburg summit with a focus on inclusive growth.
In a speech titled "Keeping Abreast of the Trend of the Times to Achieve Common Development" at the BRICS Business Forum, Chinese President Xi Jinping called on BRICS members to uphold multilateralism and improve global governance.
