Guangzhou, a southern city in China, has become the largest oversea habitat for Australia's iconic koalas.
In Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park, over 60 koalas of six generations are living here.
The oldest one is the 17-year-old koala Uki which likes to stick motionless on the tree. Considering the average age for a koala is 10-12 years old, Uki is over 100 years old in human age.

She is now living with her big family of six generations, with one son, two grandsons, one great-grandson, one great-great-granddaughter and the newly born half-year-old great-great-great-grandson.
Being one of the oldest koalas in the world, though, Uki remains positive physical condition. Her breeder said the 17-year-old Uki's teeth are as healthy as a 10-year-old koala. She can forage on her own without assistance.
"We try to keep her from disturbance. She has her own space both inside and outside the showroom, without being annoyed by other koalas. We provide her with the freshest and most nutritious eucalyptus leaves twice a day."
This is the first time that this group of lovely furry koalas meets its tourists. The other lineage is the Murrumbidgee family, also descends six generations. The youngest member of the family was born on February 2, 2019. The group now has a population of 60 koalas, becoming the world's largest overseas koala group outside its birthplace Australia.
